Starting in 1983, Mahopac Lacrosse is one of the most decorated programs in school history, including 9 Section 1 Championships, 5 NY State Semi-final appearances and the 1996 New York State Class A Championship Team.

Program details:
MSA Boys Spring Lacrosse offers programs for grades K-6th.
When: Start date is April 1st – June 6 (Also see clinic dates and times throughout the off-season)
Where: Most home games and K-2 Clinics will be held at the NEW Airport Field in Mahopac (Next to the Putnam National Golf Course).
The MSA boys lacrosse program is designed to provide a safe, fun, developmental program for children in grades K-8th. Each of our levels offers a different degree of competitiveness, however at all levels we strive to develop a child’s love for the game so that he can truly appreciate all aspects of the sport, gain an understanding of sportsmanship, and learn what it means to be part of a team and program.
Program Levels:
- PreK-K (Intro To Lacrosse/Co-ed clinic)
- 1st-2nd
- 3rd-4th
- 5th-6th
- 7th-8th (Weekend Travel only)
Each practice we will spend time on skill development and overall instruction to enhance lacrosse IQ and skills. 1st-6th grade will practice twice a week and play local games(participating in some jamborees and tournaments).
Prek-k clinics will be run on Sunday mornings 9:30-11:00 and focus on the FUNdamentals of the game. There will be controlled scrimmages at this level near the end of the season with coaches on the field.
Qualified, knowledgeable coaches and Mahopac HS players and coaching staff will help teach the kids, develop their skills and their love for the sport throughout the season.
MSA Lacrosse also works directly with our Varsity program to work on skills, drills, sets and verbiage our players will hear and see if they continue to play lacrosse in high school. We are a top down program.
Starting in 1983, Mahopac Lacrosse has a strong tradition (see our alumni tab) and we look forward to helping your child develop on and off the field.
